I have a hard time staying interested in general activities related to music, such as practicing instruments, composing, and recording. Still, I have a desire to create and hear sounds I've never heard before, so I create my own synthesizers, sequencers, and effectors.

However, since I want to avoid performing or composing, the problem is how to use the equipment I've created (I don't even like adjusting the knobs on an 8-step sequencer).

So I decided to use chance and repetition.

This site is a daily record of those activities.

I create my own hardware and software, but since I am self-taught, there are bugs and sometimes unintended noises. But if it's a fun bug or noise, I don't bother removing it.

That's where the name of this site comes from.

Of course, the name also comes from the fact that I love the sounds made by insects and was trying to reproduce them using electronic circuits and MAX (Cycling '74).

Regarding chance, I am influenced by the ideas of John Cage, and regarding electronic circuits, I respect David Tudor and Nicolas Collins.

I am also grateful to those who publish circuit diagrams of various synthesizers on the Internet.

演奏も作曲も録音も興味は持つが長続きはしない、けど、音を出したい！聞いた事ない音を聞いてみたいということだけで、自作機器を作成しています。でも８ステップのシーケンサーのノブを設定するのも面倒なので偶然性に頼ることにしました。そして、ハード、ソフト共に自作なわけでバグや意図しないノイズが紛れ込みます。それらも結果が楽しければOKわざわざ取り除きません。それが名前の由来なのですが、もちろん虫の音が好きで、それらが電子音に似ている事も由来の一つです。偶然性に関してはジョン・ケージに影響を受けていて、デヴィッド・チュードア、かっけー！ニコラスコリンズ、情報ありがとう、そしてインターネットに回路図を公開している皆様に感謝です。
